The Glute Zone Set: Three Exercise Machines for Glutes in 150 Sq Ft

The Glute Zone is a three-machine training system from The Abs Company, built for gyms and studios rather than homes. It pairs the Glute Coaster TL, Total Glute and Glute Lift Elite so one exercise machine for glutes never has to cover every hip action. Footprint: about 150 sq ft.

Picking an exercise machine for glutes

The gluteal group does three separate jobs, and no single machine loads all three well. The gluteus maximus drives hip extension. The medius and minimus handle abduction and hold the pelvis level. A loaded hip raise trains extension again, but from a seated, supported position that a nervous member will actually try.

That is the case for a zone instead of a single purchase. What machine is best for glutes at the gym? For loaded hip extension, a dedicated kickback or hip-raise machine wins. For frontal-plane work, you need an abduction pattern instead. One machine covers one job well, which is why facilities serious about glute training buy in threes.

What's in the zone

Each machine trains a different pattern, and each is also sold on its own.

MachineFootprintMotion trainedSuits
Glute Coaster TL74" x 33"Down-and-back extensionDirect glute max loading
Total Glute67" x 41"Abduction plus cable liftsMedius work, squats, lunges
Glute Lift Elite64" x 51"Seated hip raiseBeginners, all abilities

The Glute Coaster TL is the redesign of the original Coaster, now trackless and quiet enough to sit near open floor space. The Total Glute is the versatile piece: an abduction station with ergonomic handles, plus a platform and cable attachments for squats, deadlifts and lunges. The Glute Lift Elite is the approachable one — sit, strap the wide hip belt, select resistance, raise.

Planning the 150 sq ft

Budget the full 150 sq ft, not the machine footprints. The three units take up roughly 59 sq ft of floor between them, leaving about 91 sq ft for entry, exit and queueing. How much space does a glute zone need? Around 150 sq ft is the working figure for all three together. Cut that back and the zone stops functioning as a circuit.

Three things worth checking before you order:

  • Floor loading: two machines alone top 1,100 lb
  • Delivery path: widest crate exceeds a 32 in door
  • Layout: the zone adapts to your floor plan

Send your room dimensions with your quote request and the layout can be built around the space you actually have.

Common questions

Can I buy the three machines separately?
Yes. The Glute Coaster TL, Total Glute and Glute Lift Elite each have their own product page and can be ordered individually. Buying them together makes sense when you want one freight shipment and one layout plan.

Will these machines fit through a standard door?
Not all of them. The widest crate in this set is wider than a standard 32-inch interior door, so plan a double-door, roll-up or loading-dock route. Measure the full path before the truck arrives.

Is the Glute Zone right for a home gym?
Rarely. It is built as a facility system: three machines, 150 sq ft, several users rotating through. A home buyer is usually better served by one machine from the set.

How is the Glute Zone Set priced?
The Abs Company equipment is quoted rather than sold from a cart, so pricing depends on configuration, freight and destination. Send your location and the pieces you want for a written quote.

Which machine should a first-time user start on?
Most people find the Glute Lift Elite easiest. You sit, strap the belt across your hips and raise. There is no setup to get wrong, which matters for members who avoid the free-weight floor.

Does a glute zone replace barbell hip thrusts?
No, and it is not meant to. Machines give fixed paths, fast load changes and a low intimidation barrier. Barbell work still has its place for advanced lifters chasing maximum load.

Build your glute zone

This set is quoted, not carted, because freight, layout and lead time change with every facility. Send your floor plan and member numbers and the zone gets priced properly. Hamilton Home Fitness is an authorized dealer for The Abs Company, ships to all 50 states from Tennessee, and can quote all three machines together or one at a time. Request your quote today.
