What Does Installation Require?
Plan for a two-person crew and a full hand-tool kit. Hoist's manual lists a ratchet wrench with 1/2", 9/16" and 3/4" sockets, an adjustable wrench, a rubber mallet, a tape measure, a level and an SAE hex key set. Hold off on wrench-tightening until every component is attached.
Hoist requires this bridge to be anchored before use and warns that an unanchored unit can tip, causing serious injury or death.
For floor anchoring, each upright assembly offers eight anchoring locations, and Hoist specifies bolts at least 4-1/2" long. The front and rear-most holes always take bolts. If that length won't work in your slab, use all eight.
Can a gym rig be installed without drilling the floor? Yes, this one can mount to a wall instead. Hoist requires two wall mount brackets per element. Each bracket needs at least four 3/8 x 2-1/2" lag bolts in standard 16" on-center wood studs. Other wall types need their own anchors, and wall hardware is not included.

What Do the Warranty and Returns Cover?
Hoist calls its warranty policy one of the best in the industry. It covers the original purchaser only, against defects in workmanship and/or materials under normal use or service. It applies to defects from the manufacturer only, and complete terms sit on Hoist's Support page.
Does Hoist's warranty cover a gym that charges dues? Yes, under Commercial terms. These apply where members pay monthly dues or more than 50 people a day use the equipment. Dues-free sites with no more than 50 daily users, such as hotels, apartment complexes and training studios, fall under Light Commercial terms.
Finish, paint, cables, upholstery and accessories carry one year under both tiers, so budget for wear on what members touch most. Coverage excludes removal, transportation, delivery and reinstallation, and it cannot transfer to a later owner. Hoist also reserves the right to change product specifications, design, and function at any time.
